IN GENERAL A rifter, arrived October 2022 Harvestmere 9:48. Has been Riftwatch’s Head Healer since September 2023 Kingsway 9:49, and so can be often found in the infirmary or his office in the Central Tower. Also often found haunting the research offices and libraries; particularly interested in the Fade, rifts, anchors, and other universes.

• Former surgeon; still a doctor, healer, nerd, and sorcerer.
• Easy to tell that he’s a magic-user, considering he won’t shut up about it or asking questions about it.
• Can be very flippant & sarcastic.
• Had some sort of history with Provost Stark, and their world was one of the ones visited in Wintermarch 9:49; he put people up in the Sanctum Sanctorum.
• Was one of the four rifters who invented time magic to undo a mass casualty event in Solace/August 9:49. Is allowed one smug “I told you so” about it.
• Has been noticeably living with Gwenaëlle Baudin on her houseboat since the destruction of the Gallows towers in Cloudreach 9:50. It’s probably a safe bet that they’re involved in some way.

Satinalia ’22^*

Two (2) pairs of leather gloves - soft, smooth leather, one in a deep red and one a plain, very dark brown. Flexible enough to be worn casually during the day, and both lined: the red with silk, with kidskin at the wrists to aid in preventing slip, and the dark with soft fur. Both are easily thick enough to conceal the glow of the anchor-shard.

A fresh bundle of candles, neatly wrapped. There’s a little scrap with it with a scrawled M, so looks like local librarian is looking out for your late night studies.

A dip pen, formed of a shiny brass metal. When dipped in ink, there is a small reservoir in the twist of the metal that will hold enough for half a sentence at a time, maybe more if the ink is of good quality. It’s decorated in fine filigree etches.

Secondhand copies of Beyond the Veil: Spirits and Demons by Enchanter Mirdromel, and A Study of the Fifth Blight, Volumes 1 and 2 by Sister Petrine, a Chantry scholar. Inside one of the covers is a note that has a list of book titles, all concerning the history and lore of Thedas and especially magic, all available at the Gallows library. She favors firsthand accounts over more clinical studies.

A leather contraption meant to be hung at the hip, after being looped through the belt. It contains several protected notches for potions or first aid supplies.

The stool at Strange’s workstation has been mysteriously swapped out for one with locking casters and a low backrest. The height of its seat can be adjusted by swivelling. At his station in the infirmary he will find a little wooden figure of a cat with its paw raised.

A very tiny bottle filled with a tannish brown liquid, corked. It’s rustic, but has an air of elegance to it. No note, but if examined closely you will see it labeled as “Eau d’ Edgard”

A new pair of sturdy everyday gloves, dyed a dark red. In one of the fingers, a rolled up bit of paper with a carefully written (though still with an occasional tear or blot of too much ink, not enough to render it useless) description of what’s in a Templar’s philter box and how it’s used. For his records, or just in case.

Obtained while in Val Royeaux for the Riftwatch Cultural Exposition, in an attempt to blend in.

A red cloak made out of Fade-touched silk, with a slight chance of making him invisible and intangible à la Fade Cloak.

In use so his depowered cloak from back home can sit safely in bedroom storage rather than get set on fire on missions.

A metal coin (brass/bronze in color) approximately 8cm in diameter with the following engravings: a symbol on one side and TRUST ME on the other.

The center of the flower is a glowing yellow-orange orb that emits as much ambient heat as a brazier of equivalent size, with less light and no need for maintenance or risk of real fire.

A carefully-copied pamphlet available at the infirmary, and slipped into the mailbox cubbies of volunteers. Covering first aid basics, it lists an available curriculum cobbled together from Stephen Strange and Derrica’s medical training, plus consulting local healers with first-hand experience.

5. Musculoskeletal Injuries
